Interview with Madison New York

My Recent Interview with Madison New York

12/28/20251 min read

I'm pleased to announce that I recently sat down with Madison New York for an in-depth conversation about my research in adaptive AI systems and dynamic intelligent algorithms.

The interview, titled "The Architecture of Adaptation: A Conversation With Boris Kriuk," explores the philosophical and technical foundations underlying my work across applied AI, swarm robotics, financial markets, and foundational machine learning architecture. We discussed what I call "genuine structural adaptation"—the idea that truly intelligent systems should be able to reorganize their own structures rather than simply optimize parameters within fixed boundaries.

In the conversation, I delved into several of my recent projects, including MorphBoost's self-organizing gradient boosting framework, the ELENA epigenetic algorithm, Q-KVComm's multi-agent communication protocol, and the pan-Arctic permafrost infrastructure risk system. We also explored where I see adaptive intelligence heading in 2026 and beyond, particularly the exciting frontier of meta-learning at architectural scale.

I'm grateful to Madison New York for the opportunity to share these ideas with a broader audience and to discuss the philosophical implications of building systems that can genuinely evolve rather than merely optimize.
